What is a declaration page, you say?
That is the cover or first page of information you receive from your insurance company at policy renewal time. It generally arrives in the mail about thirty days prior to the actual time your policy is up for renewal. On an auto policy, it will show the make, model, vin numbers, and generally, driver information on all the vehicles, along with the coverage amounts you currently have. This same type of page comes on your homeowners, boat, business, RV, motorhome, motorcycle, travel trailer, or mobile home. The difference in these types of policies, vs auto, is they are almost always for one year. Washington State auto insurance policies, on the other hand, renew on a six-month cycle in most, but not all, cases.

Why is the declaration page mandatory by our agency?
It is your proof of prior insurance. It provides this agency with acceptable proof of prior insurance documentation for the insurance companies we deal with.
